I have finally organized some of the pictures of the car show, but there are still a few more that I need to upload to the site, but for now, it’s at least easier to see them all. I hope to have the whole show up by the end of this week, but for now, you can check out what I’ve already gotten up!

I have returned from Comic-Con!

Comic-Con was certainly an interesting experience, and I’m very glad I took the time off to go! It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of things around here. I did get a few pictures while I was there, but I haven’t finished the role yet, so those pictures will just have to wait. As for the dance pictures, I will try to get those scanned in by the end of next weekend. I hope to get all the car show up as well! I am exhausted, so I will cut this entry short, but I will post on here soon and tell all about my Comic-Con experience!

I’m back from the Unique Dance-O-Rama, and boy was it a long weekend! I’m sore and exhausted, but all in all it was a successful trip. I did better than I expected with most of it, and got a majority of 1st places. I got a few seconds, a couple of thirds and a forth place, and I placed 6th out of 13 couples for the All-Around. I took about 4 1/2 roles of film, which I’m hoping to get developed tomorrow, so those pics will go up on the site eventually. Hopefully it won’t take me as long to do those pictures as it has for the car show pics! But anyway, it was very good to see my parents at the competition, and they took home a bag full of trophies and awards. They danced really well, and I got a few pictures of them that I will get posted on here, too! (And
maybe I’ll get those car show pictures up too!)
Comic-Con is in 3 days!!

Well, my baby’s out of commission again! I need a new generator, as well as a valve cover gasket. I don’t have the fundage for that yet, so the Met’s living in the garage until I do. Lucky for me the generator blew out at a Met Club function, so all the guys at the Annual Met Club Picnic got under the hood to figure out what was wrong. I hope to get the parts soon after my dance competition, and then spend a weekend working on it. Should be fun! But for now, I did get the pictures up of the Met’s trek down here, and I’m still working on getting the rest of the show pics up. It’s turning out to be quite the process! I’ll let ya know when they’re all up!

Happy July 4 weekend! Well, it’s been a while since I’ve updated here, but I still don’t have the pictures of the show up. I did finish getting the Met’s trek down here up on the site, as well as some new pics of Stormy and Spats. I still have a few more pictures to upload, once I get them scanned in, but first things first!

Unique Dance-O-Rama is only 2 weeks away, and I’m starting to freak out just a tad. I’m competing in 16 different dances, I’m dancing each of those twice, then I’m also doing a solo-routine with my teacher (Hustle), the opening number with the Orange studio (West Coast Swing), and my teacher recently convinced me to do the “All-Around” competition as well. All-Around will be 4 dances that will not be announced until we get on the floor. A bit nerve-wracking, but I’m sure I will make it through. I will be sure to get many pictures of that event so I can post them on here.

As soon as I come back from Unique, I’ll be leaving for Comic-Con in San Diego! Yup- I’m actually going to go this year. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a Comic Book (among MANY other things) convention that’s held each year in San Diego. I’m taking time off, and going for everything- even the preview day. I’m especially excited about Charles Shultz’s wife who will be there, the Star Wars stuff, Lord of the Rings stuff, and the Fantasy painting section. Never a dull moment, eh?
