Let Sleeping Babies Lie!
Jordan has been a champ these days at sleeping- of course as soon as I post this she’ll stop sleeping all together, I’m sure.
But she’s slept for 7-8 1/2 hours stretches at night the past 2 nights, and she’s still taking at least one 2 hour nap, and another nap of about an hour, sometimes more. So I’ve been able to get some stuff done around the house. And get some napping in myself! I’m still trying to go to Curves at least 3 days a week, though that’s tough since I have to go before Mike goes to work, and he’s been trying to go in earlier these days. But it is working, because at my July weigh-in, I had lost 4 pounds, and dropped some inches from my hips and waist, too!
Whee! I haven’t met my goal of being within 5-10 pounds of my pre=pregnancy weight quite yet, but I just might get there by Jordan’s first birthday! Yippee!
Party-planning is in full-swing, and I’ve been trying to get all the little things in order for that. I can’t believe it’s coming up in just over 2 weeks! Yikes!
I have lots of photos that need to go up on the site, but I’m not sure I’ll get that done this afternoon, as I still have laundry to attend to.
In other Jordan news, she has cut another tooth! The one on the bottom actually poked through last night, and the two on top are so close I can see them, but they haven’t popped through quite yet. Jordan was awake for a hour last night from 1-2am being a bit clingy, so I’m guessing her teeth were hurting her then, and possibly she was recalling her traumatic trip to the doctor’s office for the re-check of her ear infection. It was all cleared up, but she really didn’t enjoy her time as they had to scoop out her ears again. Poor girl. She now cries as soon as someone comes in the room- even the nurse this time. And she cried to have her temperature taken since they take it in her ear. And just think, in a couple weeks we’ll be going back for the big shots! I am waiting until after all of her birthday festivities to take her in just in case she has a reaction to the shots. Well, the laundry is calling!
