Just thought I’d post as I have a bit of time while Jordan’s still napping. I haven’t posted in so long, and I have so much to post about, but for now I will just say that we went to Kentucky for Christmas, and the time with family was wonderful! The trip getting there and coming back, however is quite a different story, and one that I will post later. Suffice it to say for now: NEVER fly United Airlines!!
Jordan is doing well, and slowly returning to our “normal schedule” whatever that is. She’s eating a lot more table food now, and is only having baby oatmeal at breakfast, and random pureed fruits here and there. She is also refusing to eat unless she feeds herself. She does well with a spoon, and is learning how to stab things with a fork as well. (Hot dogs, etc) Her 18 month check up is just around the corner, and I’m trying to decide if I want to switch doctors before or after her next appointment. Her doctor is in Long Beach, and that’s quite a drive for us. I’ve heard good things about a lot of doctors around here, so maybe we’ll switch soon. Jordan now has 11 teeth, and is working on a 12th. (3 of her back molars are in, and the bottom left is just poking through now.) She’s very interested in the potty, and we’ve started some “pre-potty training”. She’s fairly consistantly taking a 3+ hour nap every day, just depends on what time she goes down. I’m trying to figure out when her “best time” to nap is. I’ve been trying to push it to 2pm, but I think she wants it earlier. Fridays seem to go the best for her when she has 2 Gymboree classes in the morning(play, then music), then we sometimes go out to lunch with friends from Gymboree, then home for a nap around 1-ish.
That’s about it from here. I’m really trying to get the pictures organized, and some of them are up, I’ve just hidden them, so I can organize them first. I’m hoping by the end of next week to be caught up with all of that!
