Just a couple of minutes ago I was sitting here on the couch, working on my school work while Jordan played nicely in the livingroom. I guess she wandered into her room, which she does frequently, but I hadn’t noticed. Anyway, all of the sudden I hear a big “thud”, then hear SCREAMING coming from her room. I ran faster than I knew was humanly possible as this was not a normal scream. When I opened her door, she said that Spats, our very large (almost 20 lbs) cat had pushed her off the bed. When I looked at her face, I saw that she was covered in blood- pretty much from under her nose all down her mouth and chin, down her neck, and all over her hands. I wasn’t sure where all the blood was coming from, and I sensed an impending trip to emergency room, but I very calmly took her into the bathroom, removed her shirt and began to wipe off the blood to find the source. I couldn’t find any more blood after wiping it all off until I asked her to open her mouth- there it was! All her teeth were pink, and there was a red line all around her teeth. I quickly checked to make sure she had all her teeth- thankfully she did. None looked chipped, or loose. I asked her to point to what hurt, and she pointed to that little piece of skin that attaches to the upper gums, which has a very small cut on it. I can’t imagine such a small cut making so much blood, but I guess mouth injuries are pretty icky. Anyhoo- she seems fine now, but it was a small little panic for me a few minutes ago!
I’ll write about the fire later. Suffice it to say we are safe, and the fire is now completely contained. I’ll post pics and the story later.

I am uploading more pics- Halloween night, a few of Jordan showing off her Halloween bracelet from Gigi and G-pa, and our trip this afternoon to see High School Musical 3. You may think I’m crazy for taking a 2 year old to see High School Musical, but she greatly enjoyed it. And so did I! She’s had a thing for Corbin Bleu since she was 6 months old, and she was rather excited to see him on the big screen. We were the only ones in the theatre, which was nice- she was able to move around a bit that way. She wanted to dance along, because, well, there was music playing! Music=time to dance when Jordan’s around, so I let her stand up in front of our seats and dance a bit. Judging from her dancing I think the junk yard song was her favorite. It’s a duet with Corbin and Zac Efron, called The Boys Are Back. All in all a very fun afternoon!

On a different note- I have added a sidebar mainly for the grandparents. It has Jordan’s current sizes and I will try to keep it updated when they change… if they change… it seems her sizes have been the same forever. She can still wear almost everything from last year fall/winter, except some of the shirts are tight, and a bit too short, the pants are a tiny bit short, but the waists on the “big clothes” from last year are still waaay too big. Good news is, I don’t have to do much clothes shopping for this year- her winter coat from last year as well as her Christmas dress still fit her! Whee!!

I’m currently uploading pics of the past few days. This week has been busy! And yes, that is me as Mover Scott at Mickey’s Trick or Treat at California Adventure. We have pics of Mike as Mover Smitty, too. In case you don’t have preschoolers at home, they are from the Imagination Movers, a new show on Playhouse Disney. Jordan is obsessed with it, and in fact called us by our costume names almost all night. It was very cute. She had a grand time at the party, and even got to dance in the parade. We have some pics of that as well. We’re trick-or-treating tomorrow with some friends, and I’m sure I’ll have pics of that as well. I’ll post again when the upload is complete!

Well, I managed to finish my first class for my Masters in Elementary Ed, and I ended up with 100% in my class!!! Woohoo!! I’m guessing I probably won’t get 100% in my next one, but I’ll give it a try! We’ve been quite busy since I got back from my folk’s house, and I have lots of pics to upload. I’m hoping to get that done today, but we shall see. Jordan and I drove back home on Friday of last week, arriving around 11ish, then I worked my last Saturday at Gymboree, and yesterday we went to Tanaka Farms to pick pumpkins (as the last pic shows) and then went to Tracy and Ian’s wedding last night/afternoon. Tonight is Randy’s Annual Pumpkin Carving Night, then Wed we’re headed to Mickey’s Trick or Treat party at California Adventure, and Friday we’re going tick-or-treating with some friends. (Well, Jordan will be going trick-or-treating, we’re not… ) Anyway, that’s the update from here!
